Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Inclusion for Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, scheduled to last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, creating opportunities for community interaction and solidarity.
The role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the involved parties.
