Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Community and Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be improved, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, providing oversight and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteering organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
