Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Welfare

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total funding allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most disadvantaged groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring monitoring and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
Overall, the agreement represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens, aimed at protecting and improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable individuals.
