Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Boosts Community Support and Services

Convention in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable sectors. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring oversight services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.

Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at safeguarding and enhancing the quality of life for the most vulnerable individuals.
