Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Institution Collaboration

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved components.
