On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation saw the participation of some representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
