On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total allocated funds for the implementation of the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transports will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
