On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which is planned to last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of senior citizens and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
