Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Specific Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.

The project intends to promote the importance of social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.
