Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding to Aid Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents of the municipality. The total allocated sum for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the groups most in need. Social transport services will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
