Community Support Initiative in Cornuda Empowers Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.
