Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
