Local Partnership Launches Social Inclusion Project for Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total sum allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the underprivileged categories. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
