Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Moreover, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
