Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with EU Funding and Local Partners

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services, along with institutions, listening centers, and gathering places, will also be enhanced.
