Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and EU Support

Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
