Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteering organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
