Cornuda’s 1996 Social Inclusion Project Promotes Community Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims especially to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport, services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
