Cornuda Social Vulnerability Project Launches with Community and Institution Support
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Activities and expected objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most at risk.
Transportation services, social services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
