Cornuda Social Support Project Launched with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
There will also be an enhancement of social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces.

The l’ Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
