Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Community Inclusion with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker categories.
Social transport and services, listening and gathering centers will also be enhanced.
