Cornuda Launches Social Support Program for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable populations.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
