Cornuda Social Support Project Launchs with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be strengthened.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organization and management of the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
