Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Institutional Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the realization of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
