Community Support Project Launches in Cornuda to Aid Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

A few representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
