Cornuda Launches Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the agreement and participants
On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services will also be enhanced, along with listening centers and gathering spots.
