Cornuda Social Support Project Aims for Inclusion with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the meeting hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable populations.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Community resources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transport services, social transportation, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
