Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Assist Elderly and Disabled
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which is set for a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative totals approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be strengthened.
