Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Investment
Beginning of the agreement and participants
On the day June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer groups.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.
Activities and planned objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport, services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
