Community Initiative in Cornuda Supports Elderly and Disabled Residents
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which lasts two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and community gathering spots will be enhanced.
