Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Boost Community Inclusion

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include domiciliary assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
