Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Partnership
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of entry in June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and planned objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved people, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
