Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Partners and EU Funds
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.

The project aims to promote inclusive social integration and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in’ the organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
