Cornuda Social Support Project: Local Cooperation for Vulnerable Groups
Beginning of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighourhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for implementing the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
