Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Institution Collaboration

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting socially disadvantaged individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and Community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services will also be enhanced, along with listening centers and gathering places.
