Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launched with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the least favored categories.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
