Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Supports Elderly and Disabled Communities
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of entries in June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially vulnerable.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transport services, social services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
