Cornuda Social Support Project Launch Aims at Social Inclusion

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total sum allocated for the realization of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
