Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and EU Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the socially weaker individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces took part in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which lasts two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
