Local Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents Through Community Partnership
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighbourhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
l Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
