Cornuda Social Inclusion Project: Community, Funding, and Goals
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative totals approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and expected goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transports and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for encounters and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
l Comune di Cornuda has committed to supporting initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer organizations will have a central role in’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
