Local Authorities and Volunteers Launch Social Inclusion Project in Cornuda

On the day of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which lasts two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social transport, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
