Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launched by Local Authorities and Volunteers

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 admissions, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims specifically to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Transport services, social services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
