Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which is set to last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
