Cornuda Social Services Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the agreement and participants
On the day at the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially disadvantaged people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in ’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and expected objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.

l Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
