Start of the agreement and participants

On the end of June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in ^’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of ^’ the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
