Tension was palpable at the Desenzano station this morning, Saturday, August 16, when a bartender used an irritant spray against an aggressive customer. The man, seemingly intoxicated, began to behave threateningly towards the bar staff. In self-defense, the bartender quickly resorted to the pepper spray he carried for safety reasons.
The intervention of law enforcement was swift; a patrol from the Police Station arrived on the scene within minutes to manage the situation. The officers identified all individuals involved, including the aggressor, a 46-year-old man of foreign descent, who received initial medical assistance on-site. Following the investigations, it appears that no formal complaint was filed regarding the incident.
