A majestic maritime pine tree collapsed in the square of Toscolano Maderno, next to the Gardesana road, during the night between Friday and Saturday. The event was caused by the bad weather that hit the lower Garda area yesterday. Fortunately, there were no people near the incident at the time of the collapse, thus avoiding any damage to people or property.

Currently, the Civil Protection teams and the workers of the Municipality of Toscolano Maderno, supported by the Local Police, are engaged in clearing the area. The affected area has been cordoned off near the church of Sant’Andrea to ensure safety during the removal operations of the fallen tree.
