Cornuda Launches Social Inclusion Project for Vulnerable Citizens

Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total sum allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
