Cornuda Launches Social Inclusion Project for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which is scheduled to last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funds allocated for the implementation of the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for community gatherings and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved entities.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
